The Black Stars are still the continent's sixth best behind Ivory Coast, Cameroun, Gabon, Egypt and Nigeria.
Ghana will play Zambia in an international friendly on 12 August and Sudan on 6 September in a joint Nations Cup/World Cup qualifier in Accra.
Almost the entire top 20 of the latest edition of the Fifa world ranking remains unchanged.
Brazil, who returned to the top in July, are still the leaders ahead of Spain and the Netherlands.
Behind them are Italy who have lost more points than Germany following the devaluation of previous matches and have therefore been overtaken by them.

Fifa rankings out, Ghana drops
The latest Fifa rankings are out.
Yawn...
But anyway Ghana slipped five places in this latest edition. We all know the contempt with which some people treat Fifa's monthly who's who.
As Don Sarge says: 'Who really cares about what Fifa thinks. Let's qualify for SA and cause a stir by winning the coveted trophy then we gonna see how Fifa's gonna jump us from 35th to 1st.'

The Black Stars dropped from the 31st place to 35th position as 21 'A' international matches taken into account in this edition. However Ghana are still the third highest ranked country on the continent behind Cameroun and Nigeria.
Within the top ten, there is movement directly behind leaders Spain, however, as the Netherlands have overtaken Germany and reclaimed second place in the ranking for the first time since October 2005.
The next Fifa/Coca-Cola world ranking will be published on 1 July 2009.
