The vaunted on-formness of Liverpool has gone rat-a-blast. What a win by Chelsea. Let's face it, I definitely did not see this kind of 3-1 result coming. However, my pal at Atlantis made an important point after the game.
Said he: "Essien's absence in the two legs that 'Pool lost to Chelsea was the difference." If you do not believe, I think this BBC blog would bear me witness. The 'Pool fans did well by sports-manly applauding the Blues off - truly deserved, if you ask me.
