Introducing Alexander Tettey, another lost gem

He is one of the numerous Ghanaian players out there who are either not known/not mentioned anywhere around.

Yet he is a big man at Rosenborg FC. Born Alexander Banor Tettey in Accra, the lad has naturalized as a Norwegian and is enjoying a fine spell there.

He now plays as Rosenborg's vice-captain and with club legend Roar Strand in and out of the team Tettey is the most frequent captain. His strong performances have attracted the interest of Greek giants Olympiacos FC.

In his last game, the 22 year old scored a brace (video below) to help Rosenborg in their league ambitions.

'Van Tettey' as he's known around the team informally, has played for the under 18s, under 19s and under 21s for the Gresshoppene of Norway. He's a defensive midfielder.
