Say Nigeria, say showboys

Tonight, there's a huge game in St. Etienne, France.

France plays Nigeria in an international friendly.

And ahead of the game that is bringing Naija to a standstill, Super Eagles media coordinator Idah Peterside says the team is determined to put on a show.

According to KickOffNigeria, a near full squad of 23 players were in camp on Monday night, led by skipper Nwankwo Kanu, and Peterside says the players were chomping at the bit.

“The players are determined to play a good game and give Nigerians something to cheer.”

Players in camp as at Monday night: Joseph Akpala, Omatsone Aluko, Vincent Enyeama, Oluwaseyi Olofinjana, Sam Sodje, Elderson Echiejile, Dickson Etuhu, Onyekachi Apam, Olubayo Adefemi, Yusuf Ayila, Bamidele Aiyenugba, Sani Kaita, Nwankwo Kanu, Austin Ejide, Osaze Odemwingie, Obinna Nwaneri, Yusuf Mohammed, Ayodele Adeleye, Danny Shittu, Obinna Nsofor, Kalu Uche, Ikechukwu Uche.

Still being expected were Joseph Yobo and John Mikel Obi, while John Utaka and Michael Eneramo were exempted.
